Centre for Disabled Children Assistance (CDCA), Kathmandu is a non-profit NGO established in 2006 to facilitate underprivileged disabled children of Nepal.
CDCA is running a children home in a rented two storied house at Balkumari, Kapan-1, Kathmandu since its establishment. There are 15 children studying there and are accommodated in two sleeping rooms. Although there is space for expansion, there is still a lack of sleeping rooms. CDCA aims to expand this space to equip a well-furnished sleeping rooms.
HeNN provided CDCA with the financial support of NRs. 71,462 to add furniture in the expanded room and care taking room for medical treatment. This saved them with the money that would be spent on hotel accommodation and helped them add more children. It also contributed in organizing the children library.
