Project Description:

The objective of the four days Mugu Health Camp was to provide basic health services to the local community. The camp covered 3,500 people from Mugu, Jumla and Humla districts. The health camp offered services such as free health check up, minor surgery, medicines, and workshops to create awareness about general hygiene and safe motherhood. The camp also looked at chronic issues such as gastritis, eye diseases, gynecological problems, cardiac, oral health issues. Furthermore, a three-day Training of Trainers program (95 participants) on sanitation and nutrition was also organized at the Mugu health post.
