Health Education & Child Marriage Awareness Program Conducted in Mugu
As part of the Monthly Village Outreach Program, Help Nepal Health Post, Rara, Mugu organized a Health Education and Child Marriage awareness session for Grade 9 students of Karnali Madhyamik Vidhayalaya in Mugu.
HeNN Health Post staff delivered comprehensive information on maintaining good health, preventive safety measures, and awareness of communicable and non-communicable diseases. The session also highlighted the harmful effects of alcohol consumption, smoking, and drug abuse, along with preventive measures to avoid such habits. Students were educated about the legal and appropriate age for marriage and the serious consequences of early marriage on health, education, and overall well-being. The program aimed to raise awareness and encourage students to make informed and healthy life choices.
