Shree Lower Secondary School was established in 1963 by the local community. The school operated privately for 5 years before receiving government approval in 1968. The school has 13 teachers and 215 students. The school uses English medium of education up to class four and aims to extend it to higher classes in the future. The school also plans to start higher secondary education within the next two years.
The 2015 earthquake completely destroyed one of the 13 classrooms, the school library, and a storeroom. After rebuilding the damaged infrastructure, the school approached HeNN for financial support to buy classroom furniture and other materials. HeNN signed an agreement with the school on March 21, 2016, to provide financial support for 40 pairs of furniture. The fund was disbursed in three installments.
