eLibrary at Saraswoti Higher Secondary School, Pyuthan
With financial support from Chase Foundation, HELP NEPAL Network set up an eLibrary at Shree Saraswoti Higher Secondary School in March 2015.
The school has 800 students up to grade 12. The school has maintained a timetable to make sure that all classes get to use the eLibrary. Students get to use the eLibrary at least twice a week. An average class has about 80 students, but only 40 students are taken to the e-Library at a time. So, the clients are used in a ratio of 4 to 1: the teachers oversee that all students get to utilize the services.
Our volunteers regularly monitor the eLibraries and this one was last monitored in November 2016.
