Disaster Relief Program 2021
In response to the flood devastation in different districts of Nepal, HELP NEPAL Network, has started a flood disaster relief program which includes necessary basic packages including Rice, Pulses, Tarpaulin, and Salt . HELP NEPAL Network started flood relief distribution program 2078 in collaboration with different organizations such as ‘Mountain Heart’, ‘Red Cross Society’ and ‘Social Changemaker and Innovators’. The program started after the flood emergency in Melamchi and is still ongoing. The main objective of the relief program is to help family members affected due to flood and landslide, who are in need of immediate humanitarian support. The HeNN handed over relief packages to respective organizations which actively worked and helped to distribute them in different districts of Nepal including Sindupalchowk and Myagdi. In collaboration with various partner organizations, HeNN handed over the packages, which were then successfully sent to needy communities.
Helambu Flood Relief Program
On 17th June, 2021, HELP NEPAL Network, handed over 100 sacks of rice, 100 kg of Pulses and 100 packets of salt for affected families of Helambu Rural municipality. The relief packages were handed over to the Nepal Red Cross Society, Sindhupalchowk branch. . Furthermore, HELP NEPAL provided relief packages to Nepal Army, which then air-lited them to affected areas in Helambu district.
Myagdi Disaster Relief Program
On 18th June, 2021, HELP NEPAL Network handed over relief packages to Mountain Heart for the affected areas of Myagdi District. The relief packages were distributed in affected areas of Malika Rural Municipality, Myagdi. The MOU with the collaborating partners has already been done in the process.
Relief Received from Social Changemaker and Innovators
On 21st June, 2021, Help Nepal Network Nepal received flood relief packages from Social Changemaker and Innovators for Sindupalchowk flood relief campaign. The relief packages were distributed in affected areas of Sindhupalchowk district.
