HeNN’s Earthquake Relief Effort Update (June 26, 2015)

We have raised approximately US $643,000 in HNN’s Earthquake Relief Fund as of now.
Friends in the United Kingdom, HeNN’s Nepal concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London is taking place this weekend, June 28th!. Performers include renowned Nepali artists Deep Shrestha, Om Bikram Bista, Yogeshwar Amatya, Jems Pradhan and others. June 19th, 2015
1. Medication and Sanitary Supplies for one day health camp at Ipa Panchakanya, Makawanpur secured; fieldwork will start June 20th. In partnership with Shailung Research Centre Nepal (Famous Social Service Club).
2. Materials required to build a temporary shelters at Melamchi-7, Sindhupalchowk secured; fieldwork will start June 21st. In partnership with Melamchi Nagarpalika Ko Karyalaya.
June 20th, 2015
1. Medication and Sanitary Supplies for one day health camp at Ipa Panchakanya, Makwanpur had successfully ended.
2. Temporary shelters (“tunnel house” design) started to be built in Mahadevsthan, Dhading.
3. Temporary shelters (“tunnel house” design) started to be built in Dudhpokhari, Dolakha.
4. Temporary shelters (“tunnel house” design) started to be built in Ipa Panchakanya, Makwanpur.
June 21st, 2015
1. Temporary shelter construction (“tunnel house” design) continues in Mahadevsthan, Dhading.
2. Temporary shelter construction (“tunnel house” design) continues in Dudhpokhari, Dolakha.
3. Temporary shelter construction (“tunnel house” design) continues in Ipa Panchakanya, Makwanpur.
4. Kabre VDC, Dolakha. Mosquito Net and Sanitary Supplies. In partnership with Kalinchowk Mai Hatemalo.
5. Materials required to build a temporary shelters at Suri, Dolakha secured; fieldwork will start June 22nd. In partnership with Office of the Village Development Committee.
6. Materials required to built a temporary shelters at Singati Bazar, Dolakha secured; fieldwork will start from June 22nd. In partnership with Office of the Village Development Committee.
7. Materials required to built a temporary shelters at Saramthali, Rasuwa secured; fieldwork will start from June 22nd. In partnership with Shree Gaun Bikash Samiti ko Karyalaya.
