On July 28th, 2024, we were thrilled to welcome Ed from America to our Children’s Home in Dhulikhel. He currently works in restaurants. He operates a bakery and an American style hamburger restaurant. He is also an athlete that competes in powerlifting and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Ed visited us with the wonderful goal of teaching our children the art of baking.

Our girls were absolutely delighted to meet him in person and were super excited to learn new skills. They had an amazing time creating and tasting a variety of delicious bakery treats, including bread, chocolate biscuits, and cinnamon rolls. Ed stayed there for four memorable days, sharing his knowledge and passion. He brought a pair of shoes and shocks for our 24 girls.  He also provided 2 violets and 1 oven for children. We even had a small celebration to wrap up his visit. A big thank you to Ed for bringing so much joy and new experiences to our children’s home.
