Who are we? 

HELP NEPAL Network is the largest charitable network of Nepalis. We are a global charity run on a fully voluntary basis.The aim of the network is to encourage Nepalis and those who love Nepal around the world to provide assistance in the fields of health, education and disaster relief support in rural Nepal. How do we collect information from you? 

We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example, when you make a donation or if you register to receive one of our newsletters or if you access information we post about our programs. 

What type of information is collected from you? 

The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address, IP address, and information regarding what pages are accessed and when. If you make a donation online, your payment information is not held by us. It is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below. 

How is your information used? 

We may use your information to: 

  • process a donation that you have made; 
  • seek your views or comments on the services we provide; 
  • send you communications such as our newsletters and any other information related to HELP NEPAL Network which we think may be of interest to you. These may include information about campaigns, appeals and other fundraising activities.

We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory obligations. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity.

We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. When you are using our secure online donation pages, your donation is processed by a third party payment processor, who specializes in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. If you do not want to receive direct communications from us about important work HELP NEPAL Network is undertaking, then you can select your choices by ticking the relevant boxes situated on the form on which we collect your information.
