Youths Run British 10K to Support Schools

A group of Nepali youths is taking part in the British 10 K run to raise funds for three schools in Nepal.

This is the third year that members of the “Run for Change”, an enthusiastic team with members from different professions collaborating to support communities in Nepal, are taking part in the popular event.

HELP NEPAL Network, despite its meager resources, is currently undertaking a massive project of constructing a shelter for over 50 Conflict Impacted Children (CIC) in Nepal at the cost of around US$150,000.

HeNN-UK Honors British 10K Runners

The Help Nepal Network (HeNN) UK chapter honored the participants of the British 10 K runners who took part in the run to raise funds for a HeNN project.

Amid the dinner organised at the Paradiso Restaurant, London, on 1st of October 2009, chairman of HeNN UK, Dr Pranab Gyawali, handed over ‘Letter of Appreciation’ to the British 10 K runners who were present on the occasion.

Partying and Helping Nepal at the Same Time

Party Group UK, an energetic team of young Nepalis based in London, organised a Dance party program on 13 April 2005 to celebrate Nepali New Year.

The program was aimed to entertain Nepalese, bringing them together in a common forum and also raise much needed funds for projects in Nepal.

It included the chance to win a Return Ticket to Nepal and other consolation prizes.
