ADVISOR: Dr Raju Adhikari (Founding President): Dr. Adhikari, a Principal Research Scientist at CSIRO Material Science and Engineering in Melbourne, graduated from the University of Delhi in 1986. He did his post doctoral research from Australia and Germany and has over 25 years of research experience in the organic, bio-medical and flexible electronic polymer chemistry. He is a founder president of Nepali Association of Victoria (NAV), a member of the Non Resident Nepali International coordination Council (NRN-ICC) and chairs the NRN ICC task force on Skill Knowledge and Innovation Exchange.Email: email@example.com
Dr. Raj Gaire (Coordinator): Raj is an IT professional and a Bioinformatician with an interest in medical research. He joined HeNN-Australia in 2006 and is serving as the General Secretary since 2007. He is also actively involved in various Nepalese community activities in Melbourne.
Neelam Pradhananga (Vice Coordinator): Neelam is undertaking a Doctor of Philosophy (Architecture) at the University of Newcastle. She completed a Bachelor of Architecture in Nepal and high school studies in Townsville, Queensland. Her interests lie in heritage conservation, community participation and indigenous systems. She has been actively involved in various volunteer-driven organisations such as Service Civil International, Nepal, and International Volunteers for Peace (IVP), Australia, and is currently involved with Guthi Australia, apart from HELP NEPAL Network.
Dr. Govinda Poudel (Secretary):
Dr Govinda Poudel works as a research scientist at the Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. He has a PhD from University of Otago, New Zealand. He is an avid fan of social/community works. He joined HENN Australia in 2012
Shree Pant (Treasurer): Shree did his Bachelor in Civil Engineering from Nepal. Currently he is working with the State Government of Australia. He has remained the Treasurer of HELP NEPAL Network - Australia since 2007. Shree takes a keen interest in social and charitable activities.
Laxmi Adhikari (Project Coordinator and Executive Member): Founding member HeNN Australia. He holds Masters degree (Hons) in Highway Engineering (Belorus). He is currently working as a Senior Engineer with the Road Authority (Vic Roads) in Melbourne. Before coming to Australia, he had workded as a Senoir Engineer at Kathmandu Metropolitan City. He is actively involved in various Nepalese community organisations in Melbourne.
Diwaker Basnet (Public Officer and Executive Member): One of the founding members of HeNN Australia, Diwaker holds a Masters degree in Renewable Energy and a Bachelors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He is currently working as a policy advisor for the Victorian State Government.
Bhupal KC (Executive member): Founding member of HeNN Australia, he holds a degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Monash University, Australia. He is currently working as a senior IT (Storage) engineer at Fujitsu Australia.
Indra Ban (Executive Member):
Jog Limbu (Executive Member): A founder member of HENN-Australia. Jog holds an advisory roles in various Nepalese community organisations. He holds a Master’s Degree in Power System Engineering and Post Graduate Degree in Professional Business Management. Currently he is a Project Director.
Ranjan Vaidya (Executive Member): Founding member of HeNN Australia. Past president of Nepalese Association of Victoria (NAV). Current advisor of NRN Australia and NAV. Coordinator of Melbourne Chautari radio. Holds a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. Currently working as a senior protection & control engineer for a Victorian Energy Utility Company.
Bom Yonzon (Executive Member): Bom is a businessman in Melbourne. He is also the President of Nepalese Association of Victoria (NAV). He takes keen interest and is involved in community walfare activities.
Parsuram Sharma-Luitel (Executive Member): Parsuram is an active community member in Melbourne. He was also an executive member of Nepali Association of Victoria . He is currently NRN Victoria Coordinator and is also the president of Bhutanese Community of Australia.
Madhu Phokrel (Executive Member): Madhu Is a very active member of the Nepalese community. He is in the advisory body of Nepali Association of Victoria. By profession, he is an electrical engineer and has been a member of HELP NEPAL Network from its inception.
Harsha Gautam (Executive Member): An Engineer with post graduate degrees in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering Science, Harsha is working with a state-owned utility company in Sydney for the last sixteen years. His areas of interests are history, philosophy and religion. He enjoys travelling and learning different cultures. He is actively involved in various community organisations in Sydney. Has been working with HeNN Australia, Sydney, since 2004.
Tara Shrestha (Executive Member): Delhi School of Planing and Architecture trained architect with graduate studies in Urban Design (Harvard University). Established a successful architectural practice, DOME, in Nepal. Living in Sydney since 1992 with a family of four. Currently working as a Design Manager in a diversified property company. Interests include reading, writing, architecture and design, travel and sports.
Saleena Shrestha-Macarthur (Executive Member): Saleena is currently working as a PMO Finance Lead in Westpac Banking Corp. Completed her degree in finance and accounting from UTS - University of Technology Sydney and currently is also undertaking her Chartered Accounting Program part-time. Her main interest lies on various health and education development projects in remote areas of Nepal. Saleena has been with HENN Australia since 2007.

Dr Krishna Hamal, Executive Member: Dr. Hamal received his MS degree in Ag. Economics from University of New England, Australia, and a Ph.D in Development Economics from University of Alberta, Canada. Presently, he is working as a Senior Economist at the Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics in Canberra. Dr. Hamal is involved in various community activities in Australia. He is the President of Australia-Nepal Friendship Society of Canberra and Executive Member of International Coordination Committee - Non Resident Nepali Association.
Dr Durga D Kandel (Executive member): One of the founding members of HeNN Australia, Durga holds a PhD in Hydrology from University of Melbourne and a Bachelors in Agricultural Engineering from India. He is currently working as a senior hydrology modeller for Australian Government.
Dr Hom Moorti Pant (Executive Member): Hom is a senior economist with Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics–Bureau of Rural Sciences, specialising in international trade and climate change policy. He holds a PhD from the Australian National University and currently lives in Canberra with his family.

Dr Prem Thapa
Dr Santosh Aryal (Executive Member): Santosh is a water resources engineer working in the areas of water research. He has been a member of HeNN Australia for the last few years and is also the current president of Nepali Association of Western Australia. His interests are in the areas of water resources monitoring and development in Nepal and rural women-children health.
PAST EXECUTIVES:Ranjan Koirala (Executive member): Ranjan is working as an application manager for ANZ Bank in Melbourne. He holds a Bachelors degree from RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) in Communication and Electronic Engineering. He has worked in various capacities in HELP NEPAL Network in Melbourne and in London in the last 10 years.
Raju Shitoula (Executive member): Raju joined HeNN Australia, Melbourne Team in 2009. He holds Masters in Engineering Science and Bachelors in Civil Engineering degrees. He has been working as Structural Engineer in Melbourne since 2007.
Bhawana Bhatta Kaudel (Executive Member): Bhawana holds a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sscience from Nepal. She is associated with the University of Melbourne (Australia) and has been the executive member of HELP NEPAL Network - Australia since 2009. She is "interested in doing something for people in need."
