PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
During a decade long insurgency in Nepal, thousands of children were affected by the conflict. SAHARA Group is philanthropic organization dedicated to help such children. It looks after 100 children in its shelters in Nepaljung, in west Nepal and in the capital Kathmandu. It provides them shelter, food, cloth, medical facilities, counseling and education. SAHARA is always in need of funds as it does not have regular resources. Local people have been supporting its cause.
HeNN supported 53 children by providing them with school bags, school dress, raincoats, sports equipment and books for library. Part of the fund was also meant to support teaches’ salary.
