PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
"One district one e library,” when HeNN was on the verge of launching this concept, concept of providing computer literacy to the underprivileged ones, this school in Dang approached HeNN with a proposal requesting for course books for the school library and few computers along with other equipments for the school computer lab. This project was accepted by HeNN which soon became a venture of HeNN to establish a community based e-library in Dang District.
The school was provided 8 computers, along with a printer, a scanner and books worth NRS 210,000. The total project cost was NRS 366,000. The handover was done on 6th January, 2007.
The computers were deployed subsequently after the handover by the technical volunteers of HeNN who traveled to the project site and delivered their excellent volunteer service completing all the necessary procedure of computers set up effectively. A computer teacher of the school was also trained by the volunteers in Kathmandu as well as in the school.
